The idea of hanging baskets is that the basket provides the cradle for
your flowers and plants and that overtime the plants and flowers will
overtake the basket so that you dont see it hence why many hanging
baskets look very plain.
Hanging planters on the other hand are just like hanging baskets
they provide a cradle to hold the soil for your plants but most
hanging planters have been given a facelift making them art pieces
in their own right even if they have no plants or flowers in them.

Spiral Coco Fiber Cone Hanging Planter
