a gene-bank of ancient seeds.
Tomato Hundreds and Thousands - 100s and 1000s will produce an
amazing crop of tomatoes (up to 600 tomatoes per plant) and is ideally
suited for hanging baskets.
These cherry tomatoes are about the size of a marble and their taste

Funny things we gardeners do...?
1. Basket Delivery Anyone?
This enthusiast took on the brave role of delivering 10 mature hanging
baskets for a charity event. The volunteer commented… "The baskets
didn’t just shed every petal in my car but a large family of spiders of
varying sizes and snails made themselves at home in the van and have
been busy weaving intricate webs of fantastic design both spun and
slimed on the windows" - what we do for love!
2. Tomatoes perfectly positioned in Plastic Swans
Some of us are always on the look-out for creative ways to garden –
and even more creative gardening containers. Here this enterprising
gardener found a creative and humorous way to brighten up their balcony
while growing their tomatoes.

The Largest hanging basket?
A garden centre is cultivating what it believes to be Wales' largest
hanging basket while raising hundreds of pounds for charity with its
green-fingered stunt.
Staff have created a giant hanging basket with flowers and foliage
weighing more than a ton.
The giant basket, which is hung from the gun barrel of an old army
tank, is six feet high, seven feet wide, and has a circumference of 18
feet.
Nostalgia - hanging baskets from the 1940s
Roseville Pottery among other made some beautiful pottery hanging
baskets in the 1940s and in to the 1950s.
The “Zephyr Lily” Hanging Basket pictured is an example.
This Zephyr Lily is a lovely floral design of unusual grace, beauty and
refinement.
The motif depicts a flower of the genus Zephyranthes, which is native
to the tropical regions of the Americas.
This piece's color is Bermuda Blue - a wonderful shade and boy does it
pop! It stands approximately 5 1/2" high.
